PPO&S Earns 32 National and International Awards for Design and Creativity


PPO&S Integrated Marketing Communications has received 9 Graphic Design: USA Web Awards, 8 Service Industry Advertising Awards, 8 Communicator Awards, 4 Hermes Creative Awards, 2 MarCom Awards and a Telly Award for a variety of work in mediums ranging from television and video to web, collateral and more.
“These national and international recognitions from advertising industry experts are a testament to the caliber of work we deliver for our clients,” said Joe Knezic, Vice President Branding and Creative Services for PPO&S. “In particular, we’re pleased to see different facets of our integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of disciplines called out for quality and creativity.”
The MarCom Awards is an international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). PPO&S was honored with a Platinum Award for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s “Know When. Know How.” video campaign, and took a Gold Award for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s “Commute By Rail” website.
SIAAwards is the only advertising awards program to specifically recognize the advertising achievements in the service industry. PPO&S was honored with Gold Awards for the PLCB’s “Know When. Know How.” video and radio campaigns, and for the agency’s Trophy Harvest video. PPO&S took Bronze Awards for Harrisburg Academy’s digital and web “Why” Campaign and PLCB “Kept Safely” video; and Merit Awards for the PLCB Annual Report, office door design for Versant Strategies, and an agency promotional video for higher education.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals. PPO&S received Communicator Awards of Excellence for the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority’s (IFPA) “Crash and Buy” TV ad and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s (PLCB) “Kept Safely” TV ad; and Awards of Distinction for the Harrisburg Academy “Why” Campaign and PLCB Annual Report.


The American Graphic Design Awards is a national competition that spotlights creative excellence across all mediums. It is sponsored by leading trade publication Graphic Design USA. PPO&S’ work on the PLCB’s “Know When. Know How.” campaign took six awards in a variety of mediums, from the “1 In 3 Friends” TV ad and website to table tent, “7 In 10” poster, and campaign kickoff event. Awards were also given for an email blast for Ten Thousand Villages; office door design for Versant Strategies and a holiday greeting video for the agency.
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. PPO&S was honored with a Platinum Award for the PLCB “Kept Safely” TV ad; a Gold Award for the IFPA “Crash and Buy” TV ad; and Honorable Mentions for the Harrisburg Academy Why Campaign and the LGBT Center of Central PA Strategic Plan Collateral.


The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. PPO&S took home a Telly for the IFPA “Crash and Buy” TV ad.
